The guide

Battle Royale

A scheduled last-one-standing event: dozens of players split into zones, long synchronized rounds, and a bracket that collapses until a single fighter is left.

What it is

Battle Royale is a scheduled event, not something you start on a whim. When Max opens one, a registration panel goes up; you join it, wait for the start, and fight until one player is left standing. It uses your real character β€” your stats, gear, weapon and one equipped consumable, locked in the moment it begins β€” so it rewards the build you actually raised, not a leveled playing field.

How to get in: find the registration panel and press Enter Battle Royale. You can press Leave until it starts, and How It Works shows the rules in Discord. There is no chat command to join β€” it is buttons only, and you need a created profile.

Zones

Up to 50 players can enter (it needs at least 4). At the start everyone is split into balanced zones of a handful of fighters each β€” around 5 by default β€” and each zone is its own private free-for-all. There are no threads and no extra channels β€” you open your zone from the event channel with the View My Zone button, which shows a combat panel only you can see. You only ever see and fight the people in your zone. If too few register, the start is pushed back a little rather than cancelled.

The live panel gives you View My Zone, Standings and Refresh so you can track who is left across the whole event, not just your zone.

The rounds

Rounds are long and shared. Every zone resolves on one global deadline β€” 6 hours by default β€” so this is an event you dip into across a day, not a fight you sit through. During a round you pick one action in your zone panel and you can change it any time before the deadline. When the clock runs out, every zone resolves at once.

Do not go silent. If you submit no action before the deadline, you are auto-played: a random ATTACK at 75% power, with no consumable and no Active Skill. Showing up and choosing on purpose beats letting the timer choose for you.

The shrinking bracket

Each round thins the field, and the bracket contracts to match. When a zone empties out it collapses, and a fighter left alone in their zone is moved into another active zone so the fights stay real. Round after round the zones fold together until a single final free-for-all remains β€” and when only one fighter is still alive across the entire event, that player wins.

Knocked out early? Your placement still counts. Final standings rank the last survivor first, then whoever was eliminated latest, then kills, and finally a fixed random tiebreak drawn once at the start of the event β€” so surviving longer and taking people down with you both move you up the board.

Hunter Momentum

Kills make you stronger for the rest of the event. Every knockout you land grants +1 STR permanently for the whole Battle Royale, and an 8% max-HP shield that comes up the following round. Aggression compounds: the player who keeps finishing fights walks into the final rounds bigger and better protected than everyone who played it safe.

Rewards

Battle Royale pays out by placement. Max sets the prize table before the event β€” an amount of OIL and, optionally, a promo code for each paying finishing position. When it ends, OIL is credited automatically and any promo code is sent to you privately by DM (a Claim My Reward button lets you pull yours again). There is no XP, no participation prize and no daily cap β€” only the places Max funded pay out, so a top finish is the whole point.

It is the one mode that turns your whole build loose against the server at once β€” your gear, your weapon and one packed consumable, no equalizing. For the smaller, instant lobby version with no zones or scheduling, see Free-For-All on the Game Modes page.

The Guardians Compendium. A Discord RPG built and run by Max. Every formula, item, region, quest and line of prose here was read out of the live bot. Reward amounts, drop rates, daily caps, prices and which panels are up are set by Max on the server the bot lives in.
